They give you rolls while you decide on what to eat. I had the teryaki steak and it was perfectly cooked. Saved room for the Pineapple Leche cake and it was very good the cake was moist and fresh and not overly sweet.

The bakery at the entrance is fantastic! I had no idea Kings Hawaiian made cookies, cakes, donuts, muffins and other tasty treats. The food reflects Hawaiian local culture. I had breakfast on my first visit so I decided to try the teriyaki chicken for this visit. It was great but I don't like dark meat chicken and I wished that the menu said dark meat. Portions are large enough to merit a doggie bag. Staff was accommodating. Lots of families and kids were there. Outside seating is available. Handicap accessible with a good sized parking lot. 3 adult entrees and 2 kids meals with drinks cost us around $80 plus tip. Be advised that the wait on the weekends is long.

I have not been into this restaurant for almost 20 years now. I have breakfast here and it was good. I recommend the King's Hawaiian breakfast with their special toast. Coffee is good. The bakery has amazing cake and pies and other baked goods. Service is good parking is ample. A definite place to go for breakfast or lunch.

never a disappointment, and always a treat. Some of my favorites, is the fried rice, best I've had anywhere, all the breakfast items, the chicken katsu, you have to try the ox tail soup (only served on the weekends), grilled huli chicken, oh the sandwiches, ah. too many delicious items, its always so hard to decide. and then there is the bakery. two words...Paradise Cake. so light and refreshing. Five stars all the way. Friendly staff and top notch service.

Always good with a side of aloha. Favorite dessert (as a person without a sweet tooth, it's amazing how many I find delicious here) is the Hawaiian Paradise cake!

Amanda and her crew are some of the best you can find on a waiter and waitress staff. The king's Hawaiian french toast breakfast has been my favorite for 30 years. there's no one that can run a restaurant like this kid. She impresses the heck out of me every visit. One of the best breakfast restaurants in the entire state of California

We had breakfast here this last Sunday. Boy it was crowded. Yet after enjoying our meals, we can see why.The portions are generous, cost is reasonable & the entire staff are very accommodating. One tip, on your way out, get some things from their bakery. Everything is delicious. You want to do this after you eat, or you'll spend twice the money! Simply because your buying on an empty stomach. There, I just saved you $15.00 or $20.00, your welcome. Lol.

Everything here is excellent! The atmosphere, you can actually hear your party talking, not noisy. Clean, great service with a smile, and most of all, everything is delicious, tasty, and desserts are divine!!!! Highly recommended! 👍

Food is amazing and the environment is cute and comfortable. Noodles are extremely tasty and I'd die for that potatoe salad.

Did you know that Kings Hawaiian Bread was originally from Hilo Hawaii? Its in Torrance CA now.. Whenever we go to Cali from Las Vegas we stop there for some fresh baked goods. And they have a restaurant. This is a must stop. We got the Apple coffee cake wow so moist and delicious. And of couse long johns a Hawaii favorite its filled with custard. A bit of Paradise in California... Stop here you will not be disappointed.

Always, "LOVE THIS PLACE!!!" The food is always good and yummy!!! Service is excellent as well. I think I need to order less when I go, because I always get food coma after I leave. The only drawback to King's Hawaiian is that they run out of the specials and there's nothing on their speciality menu to say, "SOLD OUT." I had my heart set on the, "sweet and sour Spareribs." But, again the waiter/server told they were all out. Big disappointment. :(

Wow, food is very reasonable, good sized portions no doubt. Thought I loved the rolls the bakery there is rediculous. If your in the area it's certainly worth a try.

Amazing local spot for authentic Hawaiian comfort-food. Kids always love the saimin, but personally I love the crispy chicken sandwich. If you are there on the right day off the week, the oxtail soup is absolutely amazing. Finally, don't forget to peruse the bakery. Everything is great in the bakery, but my recommendation is the Paradise Cake. You won't be disappointed!

Glad to see they are super busy even w corona ! My advice is to call ahead for any order bakery or food because the line was slow and long . Some patrons were not good w adhering to spacing . I also suggest the restaurant put better signage outside so you know which line to stand in for what and where to pay . Several people including myself were confused . Most of the employees were friendly but 1-2 definitely needed a break or to go home because they were far from friendly . My cake was delish even though I was given the wrong one ;/

King's Hawaiian has the best bakery! You should definitely try the custard cakes! Not so cheap, but you will be surprised, all of their desserts are amazing! The restaurant on the other hand, is not so good.. At least I think so, but lovers of something meaty, juicy and rich will definitely like it!

I will never go back. Terrible service. All I wanted to do was buy a pie and some rolls to go. After waiting 10 minutes for the cashier to get off the phone and help us, I finally gave up. Another couple was waiting before me and two parties after me, all waiting on one cashier. I asked another worker if they could open the other cashier and was told no. Asking for the manager got nothing. Very poorly run. I just put my pie down on the counter and said, "never mind, you're clearly overwhelmed", and walked out

I went here for my birthday dinner! It was one of the only places that was open so close to Thanksgiving. The dinner options didn't look too large when they came out, but they were really filling. After dinner, I bought some Mochi donuts from the bakery; I don't think I'll like regular donuts as much ever again. The wait time for the food was a bit long, but it was worth it. The prices of pastries is also quite fair.

Food is fine. Staff are SUPER friendly. Hours on Google are misleading. Restaurant doesn’t open at 6 a.m. - only the bakery does. Restaurant opens at 7 a.m. Google needs to account for that contingency (displaying discrete hours for a “two businesses in one” condition), or the business owners need to distinguish/separate their businesses as two discrete businesses, with distinct hours so we don’t needlessly sit in the lobby waiting or have to scramble to meet business associates somewhere else.

Listen every kid loves this bread. It is like going to the holy grail but you never knew it existed unless you just happen to be in the area or you are a know it all. Bring your kids if they live King's Hawaiian. Like a mini theme diner and the bakery is amazing.

Many people were using it. The staff was kind and clean. The food I ordered tasted good. But I don't like the expensive food with the old interior.

Went for a wedding cake tasting and had a great experience. The whole process of ordering the cake and mini desserts for our wedding was easy. They deliver! Can't go wrong with the Paradise cake.

Food here is always delicious. I got the Kahlua pork and macademia nut onion rings this time. The pork was soft and tender, the macaroni potato salad was fresh and tasty, the white rice was also fresh and soft. The lomi salmon was a little fishy though. Onion rings were huge and slightly sweet. Loved the food, and portions were very generous and hearty. Highly recommended.

Good customer service and food is always ready pretty quickly. A big fan of their breakfast - spam & egg sandwich is delicious (not on their menu anymore but I've asked for it and they still make it) as well as the 2 egg breakfast with huli huli chicken (delicious but sometimes fatty) or Portuguese sausage and Hawaiian Potatoes with a blueberry muffin all for $12 - I'm a happy camper and full for nearly the entire work day!!

Threir macberry pie and paradise cake are killer good. Also their spicy noodle dish is very very good. Side note: Kings Hawaiian is providing a discount for frontline workers and healthcare providers. Show your support for your local restaurant/bakery like theyre showing support for you. Amazing thing theyre doing for the community. Five stars all around. Used to come here frequently before the lockdown, have only continued to go even more during.

Always amazing pastries, food is on point. Nice atmosphere. Love the rainbow bread but the colors used to be brighter really showing the rainbow. Needs to go back there. Instead of the pastel colors give us the RAINBOW!!!
